Today is a very special day, ladies and gentlemen. Today is 7/11. That means that at (most) Seven-Elevens, they are giving out free Slurpees in special, 7.11 oz cups. Yay for free Slurpees!
In other news, I forgot to mention that yesterday was technically my second blogiversary, even though I first posted in July and only picked up again in December.

I'm so glad you posted. I never knew about this. Do you mix flavors? I think it always tastes like cough medicine when DB does it. UGH!!

come running--well, I'm glad I could enlighten someone! I don't mix flavors, I think that's nasty. But if DB likes it, who am I to object? I used to mix soda flavors as a kid...

I'm a weirdo and like squirting in some vanilla syrup, even though it's totally meant for coffee and not coke slurpees. Yummmmmy!
I'm annoyed with them. I went this morning downtown right before work and they said they never received the cups. Then when asked if they would honor it anyway, they said no! Grrrr. And now my friend and I just went to another one and they were out. We ended up buying one.
Oh, and scraps, the thing that you asked about was a 145. I'm doing it again October 1st. :-)
shaina--I didn't, but it's a long story. Let's just say I'm not a fan of 7-11's that are cheap gits that don't have the cups. <_<
aviva--the one I went to never got them either; there was a sign "no free slurpees today" on the window. :( I don't know how those things are scored so I don't know how good/bad that is, but good luck retaking it!

I got mine and only frum ppl were getting them so typical lol.
The one I went to wasn't in such a Jewish area, so it wasn't only frum people who were disappointed.

I don't have them very often, because there's no 7-Eleven that's really convenient for me to go to, and anyway they're just empty calories. But once in awhile I'll indulge. :)
